The kitchen is still not complete! By this time tomorrow it will be finished and I cannot wait!! This week has been busy and although I like to stay busy, it's been tiring.
My prayers tonight are specific. My mother goes tomorrow get the results of her blood work to make sure that the cancer is GONE. It has been a long and winding road for her these last several months but she has done wonderfully! She has fought and with God's gentle grace she made it through the horrible (to say the least) chemo treatments and the painful radiation. Not to mention the surgery that was done in the beginning of it all. I'm proud to call this brave, strong woman my mother. There is also another prayer for someone very special and dear to me. She's like a mom to me even though she has 4 of her own wonderful children. Some tests have been done, and now another one is scheduled for tomorrow to see about something that was found. We are not worried! God has this in His hand and we know we can rest easy in our faith in Him.
I am also super excited about helping my sister get my nieces birthday party together. She's turning 8 on the 4th of Oct. and her party is this Saturday. Of course I have no children so to be able to be involved in this is really exciting for me. I hope she has a great time and really enjoys her special day! I will be sure to take pictures to post for all to see.

As you can see, Dennis is pretty much goofy and crazy! We both love to have fun and from this picture you can see that I've got my hands full! He is funny, spontaneous, ridiculous to try to take pictures with but he is also very sweet and loving and I could not have been blessed more! God had to have made us for each other... there is no other way of viewing it. I love him so much and can not wait to begin our lives together!
Tyler
Tyler is one of the sweetest kids ever! I'm not just saying that because I love him and I'm marrying his dad. He really is!!! He is kind-hearted and very funny. He keeps us on our toes and laughing most of the time. I consider myself very fortunate to have this little man as part of my life. I can only hope to be the godly influence and example that he needs.
